Fragile Reflections

Fragile Reflections

Arthur and Jemma are a couple whose marriage has grown stale over the years. They look forward to spending a weekend at a cottage in an attempt to rekindle their passion, but a small argument over a dirty glass turns into a heated argument centered on themes of love, respect, responsibility, health and alcoholism.

Divided between a first part built on dialogues with a single, virtuous and impeccable 10-minute shot sequence, and a completely silent second part, Fragile Reflections shows us the director's extraordinary ability to harmonize the rhythm and grant the right duration to each shot . With the rigor of the language of auteur cinema, the film is also played with mastery by two actors who provide intense moments.
