In Their Own Time is the journey of three women – Srija, Tuhnu and Jhumur – who reflect on love, loss, childhood, friendship and a sense of belonging over the course of three years; we never see their faces, as the evolution of their experiences unfolds through an intrinsically dynamic and increasingly personal kaleidoscope of the city and suburbs of Kolkata.

Director Biography – Sourya Dipta
Sourya Dipta holds a Master’s degree in Film Studies from Jadavpur University in Kolkata. Based in Bengal, India, he discovered cinema during high school, at a time when there was a desperate need for hope to overcome the monotony of everyday life.
