T.O.F. (Two Old Friends)

T.O.F. (Two Old Friends)

Short film, by Massimiliano Buzzanca, Stefano Scaramuzzino, Italy, 2025.
In a timeless retirement home, two elderly men — one convinced he is Batman, the other sure he is the Joker — engage in a surreal confrontation that oscillates between lost memory, lucid madness, and heroic nostalgia. One wears an ochre-yellow suit and dances with a cane like a majorette; the other reads in amazement that he was once the Dark Knight. But nothing is as it seems. T.O.F. is an ironic and melancholic journey through identity, old age, and the thin boundary between reality and imagination.
