The Dream of Celestine V

A medium-length film that tells the life of the hermit saint Pietro del Morrone, who rose to the papal throne in 1294 as Celestine V. He is universally recognized for his official renunciation of the papal throne after a few months. The plot focuses on Pietro del Morrone's childhood and the extraordinary destiny that awaits him. Through a divine vision, the young Pietro Angelerio is guided through the entire path of the holy hermit. Along the way, he must face the animosity of his brothers and resist malevolent forces that seek to dissuade him from fulfilling his divine calling."

Director
Giuseppe Tandoi was born on 21 January 1982 in Corato (Ba) and since high school he decided to undertake an artistic path by studying at the State Institute of Art in Corato where in 2001 he graduated in Industrial Design - Ceramic Art. To continue his studies he chose L'Aquila as a university city and from 2001 to 2007 he was a student at the Accademia dell'Immagine. In 2010 he made his first feature film The Invisible City.
