Director Biography - Thomas Seymour
Praised by The New York Times for his award-winning documentaries VHS Massacre and VHS Massacre Too, Tom is a senior staff member and associate professor of film at the CUNY system. He holds an M.F.A. from Hunter College's IMA program and began his career at CBS News and NBC Universal, later earning Emmy and YouTube nominations with the Black20 team. Tom has directed a dozen feature films, produced nearly thirty, and his films, winners of over fifty awards, have been screened on platforms such as Peacock, Netflix, MUBI, Troma, Cineverse, and Vinegar Syndrome.
