LGBTQ Movies
LGBTQ movies from independent, auteur and cult cinema. This collection brings together gay movies, lesbian movies and queer stories of every kind: love stories and coming-of-age films, family dramas, portraits of communities and of lives lived against the grain. Some are tender, some angry, some playful and some deliberately provocative, and many were made by filmmakers who know these stories from the inside. They look at desire, identity, belonging, friendship and the price of being yourself in places and times that did not make it easy. Together they form a varied picture of LGBTQ lives, told with honesty and without stereotypes.
